Steven is an accomplished health care industry entrepreneur based in New Jersey. He is the founder of three companies. Steven graduated from Skidmore College in 1995 and received a Master’s in Health Care Administration from New York University in 2000.
It is said that the most effective way to understand and run a business is to be a client. Steven has a passion for physical activity which, over time, has given his ample opportunity to experience physical therapy and rehabilitation first hand. He found that there was a need for a different kind of support for recovering from injury and improving his own fitness. Rather than focus on injury-specific treatment & modalities, he saw an opportunity to explore the symbiosis of rehabilitation and full body conditioning. These experiences served as the inspiration for Parabolic Performance and Rehab.
Launched in May of 2010 in a spacious 5,000 sq. foot space in Montclair, New Jersey, ProActive Sports Therapy offers the highest caliber of physical therapy service in a space that has been meticulously designed to promote growth and healing. ProActive Sports Therapy offers a full range of physical therapy treatments as well as therapeutic massage and acupuncture.
In 2013 Steven launched his newest venture, Parabolic Performance & Rehabilitation. Parabolic Performance & Rehabilitation seamlessly integrates Sports Medicine and Sports Performance. Located within the Floyd Hall Arena on the Campus of Montclair State University, this state of the art facility provides not only physical therapy services, but also elite strength and conditioning services to youth and adult athletes.
Steven is married to Lisa Kerson, the founder and owner of jewelry firm Lisa K Designs in New York City. In 2007 the couple became the proud and loving parents to twins Alexander and Mia.
