High School Athlete Development

Ages 13-17

Training to increase performance is essential to get an edge on the competition in any sport. In our high school development program athletes will continue to develop physically while addressing any overuse injuries and muscle imbalances they may have acquired through years of repetitive movement in their sport. The main focus of our high school program is advancing athletic development (strength, power, speed, endurance, etc.) along with learning proper resistance training and recovery techniques to allow a successful transition to the next level.

Training modalities utilized include:

  • Bodyweight resistance exercises
  • Barbell, dumbbell, and kettlebell strength training
  • Plyometric exercises, jumping and medicine ball throwing
  • Foam rolling and other self implemented soft tissue techniques
  • Maintaining optimal mobility & stability through certain joints (ex. Shoulders of throwing athletes)

The performance training in these groups utilizes the same systems and methodologies that are used at the college and professional level.
